Our Mission Statement
The mission of the WBA is to bring together Wyandotte businesses to collectively promote each other and the City of Wyandotte. This organization also promotes Wyandotte as a great community to live, work, shop and enjoy leisure time.

Our Goals

• Enjoy a free listing in the Local First City Guide, a complimentary must‐have reference publication that is available to all consumers. They are distributed to every household in Wyandotte and are circulated at the parades and Third Friday events. This creates an excellent opportunity to advertise your company in a directory of locally owned independent businesses.
• Your business is promoted through the Third Friday custom‐themed events each month. These events attract many potential customers and are held downtown. All WBA members are welcome to join the festivities by setting up a tent or table to offer their products and/or services. Additionally, WBA offers our city trolley service for these events to those businesses located away from the downtown area.
• Benefit from our website which will list your business information and also provide a link to your website, if applicable. There is a coupon tab available so you may offer coupons each month to attract more customers. This is a free service.
• Advertising discounts with local newspapers
• Free 10’ x 10’ merchant space for off‐Biddle Avenue members at the annual Wyandotte Street Art Fair held every July – a tremendous opportunity to present your goods and/or services to a crowd estimated at over 200,000 attendees.
• Opportunities to meet with one another on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month to network, voice concerns and suggestions, stay informed of the activities of the WBA and to participate in the process of setting and forwarding the group agenda.

• Copying and printing services, including limited design services, are available at very competitive rates
